The Office suite of applications has been widely adopted in Windows based offices and homes for many years, but what happens when they upgrade the Operating System with a new look, feel and functions you guessed it brand new Office; this may leave those who upgrade frustrated at the changes or those who plan to upgrade concerned about the effects of the alterations. When a popular application is modified it can take some getting used to. Like having a complete stranger reorganise the belongings in your house, it's going to take a while for you to find all of your favourite or most frequently used items, even though they may have been placed in a more suitable or efficient place; it's just not what you're used to.

Office 2007 comprises Microsoft's productivity suite Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint Designer (formerly FrontPage), OneNote, Publisher, InfoPath, Visio, Groove and Access; all of which are either new or have undergone major redesign and development in order to, in the long run, simplify the way in which we work with them. Existing users of Office need to quickly adapt to the new look and feel at the cost to the user of having to relearn the applications as though from scratch. Once harnessed, the tips and tricks we provide in Office 2007 training will ensure you are right back at home with the software with marked improvements in document creation, content management and collaboration leading to greater personal productivity, reporting and business views (or vistas!!).

Office 2007 blends all of the features and functions of its predecessor within a brand new Fluent User Interface intended to replace menus and toolbars, utilising a new graphics engine and improved task management. Included and incorporated, Groove and Office SharePoint Server 2007 make for easy collaboration on projects and allows your teams the flexibility and control over remote working and/or project management.

Learning the new features; views, toolbars, wizards and overall functions of the software is essential for anyone who uses these business critical applications. Our 1 day course covers, in depth, each of the 3 major applications in Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint and introduces you to the overall look and feel of the new Ribbon menu system ensuring you are able to converse well with the other applications in the suite. Handy hints from an industry expert will have you mastering the new and improved Office in less than a day, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident with the power of Office 2007 suite.

Prerequisites: To gain the most from this class, it is essential that you are familiar with Windows, including creating, deleting and moving files and folders. You must be comfortable using a keyboard and mouse.
