In our intermediate Microsoft Access 2007 training course you will learn how to maintain data consistency, how to customize database components, improve queries, forms, and reports and how to share Access data with other applications. This course has been designed for individuals who would like to learn intermediate-level operations of the Microsoft Access program and whose job responsibilities include maintaining data integrity; handling complex queries, forms, and reports; and sharing data between Access and other applications.
Modules covered in this course include how to modify the design and field properties of a table to streamline data entry and maintain data integrity, how to retrieve data from tables using joins, how to create flexible queries to display specified records and how to allow for user-determined query criteria and the modification of data using queries. You will also learn how to enhance the capabilities of a form by grouping form controls and making other aesthetic improvements to make forms work more efficiently and intuitively for the user. In addition, topics covered include how to customize reports to organize the displayed information and produce specific print layouts, as well as how to share data across different applications.
