You will design and create a new Access database; improve queries, forms, and reports; and integrate Microsoft Access 2003 with other applications. Our intermediate Microsoft Access 2003 training course is ideal for those individuals who wish to create new databases, tables, and relationships, as well as working with and revising intermediate-level queries, forms, and reports. It also introduces you to the process of integrating Access data with other applications such as Microsoft Word or Excel.
Modules covered during the course show you the steps required to properly design a simple database, how to create a new database with related tables, how to control data entry by modifying the design of a table to streamline data entry and maintain data integrity. Also detailed are the best ways to find and retrieve desired data by using filters and joins between tables and within a single table, how to create flexible queries to display specified records; allow for user-determined query criteria; and add, update, and delete data with queries, how to enhance the appearance, data entry, and data access capabilities of your forms, how to customize reports to better organize the displayed information and produce specific print layouts such as mailing labels and how to use Access data in other applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
